[It's a weird sort of deja vu to go to sleep in one's own bed only to wake up on the ground in the middle of some forest. His first instinct was to assume it was a hugely unfunny joke, and he picked himself up and groped around the closest trees, eyes clenched tightly.]

Very funny, guys! Now give me back my glasses before I end up hurting someone.

[He gropes at two of the nearest trees, trying to gather his sense of direction. He'd memorized every tree around the perimeter of the school for just this occasion. This one is as thick as one of the old oaks, but didn't have any of the telltale carvings he'd notched into the closest trees years ago. That means he's either out farther than he thought or that this isn't a prank at all.]

Whoever's out there, this isn't going to solve anything. [It can't be Mystique again. Mystique is dead.] We can talk about this. You don't have to put everyone into such a dangerous situation.

[There isn't any answer. That means worse things. Had there been an attack? Was he separated from everyone again? There's only one way to find out.]

Look, I don't know if anyone can hear me. But if you can and you're close by, please get back right now!

[He dares to open his eyes, for just a flash of information. A beam shoots out, splintering the tree in front of him and sending chunks of wood blasting out in all directions. Luckily, there hadn't been anyone standing there, though he was almost positive he'd seen a rabbit. And if he'd seen a rabbit, that rabbit wasn't alive anymore. It was a mistake to check at all.]

It's fine, Summers. [He coaches himself now that he assumes he's alone.] You've done this before. Just reach out to Jean and she'll come find you and everything'll work out again. Assuming she's all right. Jean, please be all right.

... I'm sorry to hear it. [Because really. Sucks being brought here, with no say and everything. Even if he is an X-man, he doesn't deserve this sort of treatment. No one does, really.]

... Not at all. [She is pleasantly surprised by his request. She had rather considered Scott to be one of the more... devout X-men. It just goes to show, anyone can surprise you. She moves to sit a polite distance next to him.]

When-- did you come from? ...Did you remember this place when you went back?

[He's devout because it's a cause worth defending. It's frustrating when people try to challenge it.]

Hard for me to answer 'when'. You're not really involved in the things we normally do. But as for your other question, no. I was in a bad place at the time. Maybe I thought it was a nightmare or something.

[Scott. You are an antagonizing dick. Because Wanda couldn't possibly be involved in, say, the calendar. Mutants should get along, not continually draw lines in the sand, and reinforce them even when there's no reason to, as far as she can see. She bites her tongue, and reminds herself that he's in a stressful situation, and that one should lead by example, whenever possible.

Everyone says I won't remember this place... after I go home. I wouldn't mind it just being a nightmare. To come back, after having been here though-- That really is unfair.

[She gives him a sidelong look, normally reserved for her brother when he's being even more of a pain in her ass than usual. She has yet to catch on that her visual cues are pointless in this conversation.]

...I'm the only one from my team, if that's what you mean, yes. ... But no. I've been living in a room in one of the community housing buildings. ... By myself. [It is CRAZY lonely. The X-men have not seen fit to offer her an invitation to their house. After the most recent event, she's not sure she'd want to accept, anyway. Being around Wolverine and Storm, living with them. Nnnoope. Not going there.]

... I'm getting used to it, though. ... Only have to clean up my own messes, now. That's-- nice.

[He frowns.]

It sounds lonely to me. Do you prefer it that way?

[There is a long pause as she considers this.] ... Up until recently, I would have said no. ... I don't like being by myself. But... any more, I can't think of anyone I could stay with and not... feel weird with.

Besides. [She adds quickly, preferring not to dwell. ]It's probably better, in the end. I'm re-learning to control my powers here, and it's better if no-one but me has to suffer through that.

We can help. With control, I mean. We've all had to learn it.

[She looks at him in surprise. Well that's an offer she's never heard before.]... I was training with Agatha Harkness before I got-- pulled into this place. Now... Well I've found someone else who has-- the same powers as I do, and we've meditated together a bit. ... I appreciate the offer, but I'm not sure if you're equipped to... take me on. [She doesn't intend to sound condescending or rude. It may come out that way, but it's not her intent. More just stating facts, for her.]

Mmmhmm. Just a few though. ... No wait. Some of them are-- aliens? They don't call themselves mutants. ... But the one with my power is! [He should be able to hear the smile in her voice.] ... He's got a bunch of techniques for control that I've never even thought of! [Rein it in, jabber jaw. This is the poser child for the X-men you're spilling weaknesses to, remember?]
